We do not let prisoners smoke in the custody area for two reasons.
Firstly, we retain control of what happens i.e. we decide when to take them to the exercise yard for a smoke and secondly, it is dangerous to have any combustables in a cell.
Now it’s also illegal due to the new legisaltion.

Penny Lane has just started her first full time job in Metro City. It doesn’t pay much, but it’s a start and her parents are proud of her. Three years at college and a series of part time jobs after school to provide references, have served her well.

We shout at each other over the noise of the fire truck’s generator. It stops suddenly while we are shouting. This makes us laugh but it’s not really funny.
